We have completed an extensive range of loft conversions, small and large extensions and complete house refurbishments. Most of these have been in the New Forest area, and therefore our firm has extensive knowledge of the New Forest National Park planning system and can advise you accordingly.

In most circumstances our clients have already obtained planning permission and provide us with architects plans for purposes of providing a detailed estimate and specification for the works. Alternatively, we arrange for one of our regular architects to attend the property and compile plans for purposes of obtaining planning permission.

The normal procedure in estimating for such projects is as follows.

1. Attend the property and review the plans with you and to make any relevant measurements.
2. Provide you with a detailed written specification for the works together with costings.
3. Should our estimate be acceptable, we will provide a schedule of works.
4. Once this has been mutually agreed, we provide you with a copy of our comprehensive Health & Safety policy and public liability insurance.
5. Commence work on the agreed date !

Large loft conversion in Brockenhurst, New Forest

 

Major alteration of an existing loft conversion in Brockenhurst to provide substantially more accommodation.  You will note that the entire building had a temporary roof, which we hoped we would not need given that the works were carried out in the Summer of 2007, which turned out to be one of the wettest Summers on record !

 

 

Extension and loft conversion of a small two bedroom bungalow in Brockenhurst, New Forest

The original New Forest property comprised of two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room and kitchen. On completion of the works the property consisted of 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and substantial living accommodation. This project was completed to a very high specification and is the ultimate in luxury !

 

Dual extension to a two bedroom bungalow in Brockenhurst, New Forest

Extension to either side of this New Forest property which converted a very small and tired two bedroom property to a four bedroom, 3 bathroom luxury bungalow with large reception areas.  In addition to this we included an integral garage and have since returned to construct a high specification double garage with cloakroom facility.

Restoration and extension of a derelict New Forest cob property in Wootton, Hampshire

 Completed three years ago, this was the most challenging of all of our projects.  The property was stripped back to it's original cob structure and new floors and roof trusses were installed. A two storey extension was constructed to provide a new staircase and galleried landing, along with an extra bedroom and upstairs bathroom. Original Welsh slates were sourced for the roof and all elevations were rendered using a lime based mix and thereafter limewashed to allow the cob to 'breathe'.
